- RRRyanJan 30, 20265.0Everest went under my radar and I didnt realize there was another good midtown Indian food option, until I was close by and looking for a restaurant for lunch. I ordered the chicken tikka masala, naan, and gobi manchurian which I hadn't tried before. I was pleasantly surprised by the latter. It's a fried spiced cauliflower side that distinctly tasted like an alternative vegetarian bbq option to me and was very good. I placed a relatively larger order tonight using their own smartphone app and when I arrived everything was ready when I arrived 30 minutes after they opened for the dinner service as requested. I used to do food delivery and often had wait times of 30-45+ minutes for Indian food as all of the delivery and takeout orders drove up wait times in a high population market, so this experience was encouraging. Im not as harsh of a food critic as some people. I think the food is great and satiates that indian/Nepali craving, and I will be returning. I was pleased to discover they offer a lunch buffet. As someone living on the Southside of anchorage, im happy to have discovered this restaurant which is a bit closer to my home.
