The deli… and deli staff… are the most unhelpful and incompetent people encountered in the service industry. The amount of times they’ve flat out lazily refused to serve us is ludacris. Do not even bother. Chances are they aren’t handling things properly either, with how lacking in everything else they are. Good luck and heaven help your bowels if you do get a chance to savor those golden delicacies. WHAT EVEN ARE THE HOURS?! CANNOT GET HELP PAST 5pm EVER! Lazy, rude, and unhelpful. It’s been going on for 6+ years and is getting very old!! 23yr customer of this location… Walmart and Fred Meyer will take care of you. EVEN AT DINNER TIME!!! *ETA checker Sue is precious and a lot of folks don’t understand her. She works hard, but the reviews of her are unfortunately accurate. I’d rather be checked by Sue every day than deal with y’all’s deli staff!! Personally, I love her.

The bakery and produce sections are the best in town. I love what Carrs has stood for from the start, quality product selection and great customer service.

This store has always had what I need and the employees are always pleasant. Sometimes you have to search produce to find really fresh stuff but that's Alaska for you.

It's Carrs. Good bakery stuffs, the deli is steady whipping out hot eats to treat the empty belly. Solid assortment of products, good offers on multi buy products. And points towards fuel. All nice things in Alaska.

On January,26,2026, I had went to the store to buy a cake for my sister, I grabbed the candles, with no shopping cart, I forgot that I had placed them in my pocket till I got home and forgot to pay, I was so busy I didn't have time to go back but I did promise myself I will go back and pay for it because it was never my intention to steal. February 3 2026 I had finally got the chance to go back, I brought the candles for someone else's birthday, and decided it best if I go to the customer service and let them know that I was willing to pay for the candle I mistakenly taken home. The cashier at the customer service was very rude about it, I told her it was a mistake and I wanted to pay for it because I didn't put it in my pocket on purpose I forgot about it so I came back and payed for it, cause it the right thing to do. She had said to me after I explained why I was there, in a rude tone,"Are you so used to putting stuff in your pocket you decided to do it again", I felt embarrassed because there was a customer before and one beside me. I told her it was not my intention, I never stole anything from there, it was just a mistake and that I was back to pay and fix it because it was bothering me. Her name was Mercy, I didn't like her tone and what she said, it like she judged me as soon as I told her why I was there. Anybody could've done the same thing and would've never came back to pay for a candle only 2.50$. I experienced this kind of rude behavior from her before and I just let it go and be nice about it. I just wanted to do the right thing, it so wrong for her to say all that, not understanding my side of the story. I had patience with her, I see her every time I walk in, she's always eyeing me down. Please I'm not there to steal anything, if I didn't have money I would just stay home, cause stealing is wrong. So mercy, you have no right to be rude to a customer who is just trying to do the right thing.
