I went to Safeway last night, the one on Northern Lights to buy snacks and drinks. My daughter and I went into the liquor store first and grabbed some wine. The cashier did not want to sell it to me because I couldn’t prove that the little girl was my daughter. I took out her school ID and he said that wasn’t proof. I asked to speak to someone in charge and he said he was the manager. 🤦‍♀️. I asked him if he knew that we were allowed to enter with our children. He said at the end of the day it’s his decision whether he sells me the alcohol or not. The whole time super rude. So I stopped and left. Went into Safeway the store and asked for a manager. Kellinda came out and helped us. She apologized and took me back over there. She rang me up. I thanked her. She was so nice. I appreciate her so much for the way she handled everything.

Have been coming here for years. Stopped going to Walmart because they instituted surge pricing via digital pricing. And surprise surprise carr's has begun rolling it out. Will not shop here for anything that I can get somewhere else.
