  Dear Montana’s Team, I am writing to share my tonight’s experience at your restaurant, which was very disappointing. I made a reservation through OpenTable and clearly noted that we would be celebrating my husband’s and grandmother’s birthdays. Upon arrival, we also informed our server that two members of our party were celebrating birthdays. We had just driven 7 hours from Saskatchewan and chose your restaurant specifically to celebrate this special occasion today. Unfortunately, no birthday acknowledgment was made for them, even though we noticed that other tables were recognized and sung to. This was not our first time dining at Montana’s, and we have had wonderful experiences in the past to other locations. However, this visit left us feeling overlooked and disheartened. It was particularly upsetting given the effort we made to celebrate such an important day. We hope you can look into this matter and ensure better consistency in how guests are treated, especially during special occasions. Thank you!

  My oldest brother recently had a mild stroke and has spent the last two weeks in ICU, he had to go to Edmonton for an MRI today and I took him there. After I felt he needed a break from hospital food so I took him to Montana's in St Albert for lunch. He ordered the Canadian burger, which was great ( he couldn't finish it) and I ordered the smokehouse wrap with ceaser salad. His meal was perfect and he enjoyed it, mine, well I found the wrap was dry tasting ( really needs a dip of some sort) and the ceaser salad was bone dry. I mentioned it to our server Karissa, she took one look at the salad and told me she would make sure that I had a fresh salad to take home. She hooked me up and it was fantastic!! Koodos to the service, tell Karissa that I very much enjoyed it. Worth every penny of the tip!! The cooking staff really need to pay more attention to the details of what is leaving the kitchen.

  We had a great experience at Montana’s today. Our server, Katya, was incredibly sweet and attentive. She made sure we had everything we needed and was genuinely friendly the entire time. The manager, Jen, also came by to chat with us and was just as warm and welcoming, which really added to the positive atmosphere. The food and drinks were delicious, and everything came out just right. Overall, the service and the quality of the meal made it a really enjoyable visit. We’ll definitely be coming back!

  Went there with a party of 7 which included a baby. Ordered an appetizer and drinks which arrived promptly. Our mains took 1.5 hours to arrive. Yes I said 1.5 hours. Server didn’t come back until about one hour and apologized for the delay. He did not ask us if we needed our drinks refilled. I expressed my displeasure at the delay so then a manager arrives. He says the kitchen is just slammed because they are so busy. He apologizes and takes our $14.99 appetizer off the bill. When the food finally arrived it was delicious as usual. What is unacceptable is the poor effort at customer service by the manager. It will be a long time before I ever give that location my business again!

  Even though the wait was longer than we were expecting (who knew an entire hockey team was going to be there just before us?!), the food and service did not disappoint. Becca was fabulous from the minute she approached outmt table; she had anticipated we had waited for a while and quickly took our drink and appetizer orders. I got her to surprise me with an entree from a list of three provided ideas and her choice of the pulled pork with a side of apple butter was exactly what I wanted. Montana’s food is so fantastic, we will be back!
