  The service is exceptional from the moment you approach the door. I was with someone with mobility issues and they had the doors open for us and they sat us immediately at a table as per requested. The order was taken quickly and efficiently. The food was very good. Overall, a wonderful dining experience.

  Food was amazing but the wife's steak was just a little overcooked but other than that was delicious. Beth was our server and just was great and complimented my wife's hair that she just had done which made her super happy. It was a great atmosphere a couple of louder kids but that's to be expected when you're rolling out the brown paper coloring table cloth.

  I’m currently in town dealing with a family emergency and stopped into Montana’s for a quiet beer while I caught up on some work. During my visit, I had the chance to observe Brooklyn, and I felt compelled to share how exceptional she is. Brooklyn was fully engaged with every customer in such a genuine and sincere way. It was clear she has built strong connections with the local community—people were greeting her throughout her shift, and she made each interaction feel personal and valued. What stood out most was her consistently polite, attentive, and professional approach. She didn’t just provide service—she created a welcoming atmosphere for everyone around her. It’s rare to see that level of care and consistency. From my experience over the past few days in the area, Montana’s is incredibly lucky to have Brooklyn representing their brand. She truly goes above and beyond. Thank you, Brooklyn, for your time and for delivering such outstanding customer service—it made a difference.

  My visit to Montana’s in Lloydminster left a very negative impression. I’ve been to many locations of this chain in other provinces, so I had certain expectations, but unfortunately this restaurant did not meet them at all. First of all, the condition of the restrooms was very disappointing. They were dirty, the floor was wet and overall it looked like they hadn’t been cleaned in a while. For a restaurant that attracts families and travelers, this is simply unacceptable. Another strange moment was the behavior of the waitress. Normally you expect politeness and professionalism from staff, but here the attention was actually too much. She kept coming to the table, interrupting conversations and asking if everything was okay every few minutes. It gave the impression that it was more about trying to secure a higher tip rather than making guests comfortable. The atmosphere and interior also leave a lot to be desired. I’ve visited Montana’s locations in other provinces of Canada where the interiors are much nicer, cleaner, and better maintained. The service there also feels more professional and natural. Compared to those places, the Lloydminster location feels outdated and poorly organized. Overall, this experience was disappointing. I hope management pays attention to cleanliness, service, and the general condition of the restaurant, because right now this location falls far behind other Montana’s restaurants I’ve visited in different provinces.
