  There's a lot of things I like about this store. The store manager Tyler wall is a great guy, they give free cookies away for kids at the bakery, and they are always willing to help out. Case in point, I had to rush and get some balloons filled up with helium because they are the only place I know of on the west side that even has that service. It was literally the night before my son's party after he had already gone to sleep, so I rushed over after work and the store attendants (Kyle & Kristen) helped me fill up all the balloons and carefully put them underneath big bags so that the Lethbridge wind would not take them to balloon heaven. Very grateful for the help! And my kids were very excited about the paw patrol balloons!

  Was profiled with my partner while shopping with a reusable bag. All the staff were watching us shop in the aisles and the deli manager was watching us on the self checkout. I dumped all my receipts out too, to show them there was nothing in the bags. We paid for everything, as I always do. Made the shop anxiety-riddling as we did nothing wrong. Shop in the store all the time but will never return. Safeway is much better down the street for selection and prices. Show your staff how to deal with customers. Disgusting.

  I want to raise a concern about my recent experience at Save-On-Foods. I was charged $32 for 5 mushrooms. I only realized this after I got home and checked my receipt. A pizza that was advertised with a $2 discount was scanned at full price (around $6–7) without the discount being applied. This is very disappointing. Customers really need to double-check their receipts at the checkout to avoid being overcharged.
