  I don’t usually leave reviews, but after multiple visits to New York Fries I feel like I need to speak up about the cashier working on April 9th 2026. First, I want to say that the rest of the staff are incredibly kind and friendly, which is why this stands out even more. We have had great experiences with everyone else, but unfortunately this one employee has been consistently the opposite. This has been an ongoing issue with the same girl. Every time we come in, her attitude is rude, dismissive, and unwelcoming. She often gives us looks that make us feel uncomfortable, like we are bothering her just by ordering. It is not just us either. Our friends have had the same experience with her. One time their drinks were not even filled properly, and the same kind of attitude was there. At this point it clearly feels like a pattern, not just a one time bad day. What really crossed the line for me happened today. I am diabetic, so when I asked for Diet Pepsi, it is not just a preference, it is something important for my health. I stepped away for a moment, and my boyfriend saw her pour regular Pepsi first. The only reason she even corrected it was because he heard her coworker say it was supposed to be Diet Pepsi. If that had not been said, I likely would have been given the wrong drink without knowing. Instead of using a new cup, she dumped the drink out and refilled the same cup with Diet Pepsi. If my boyfriend had not told me what he saw, I would have ended up drinking it. That is honestly concerning and careless. Situations like that matter when it comes to someone’s health and safety. There was no apology or acknowledgment, and no effort to properly fix it. It just felt rushed and inconsiderate. Customer service is about respect, attention to detail, and making customers feel comfortable and safe. I really hope management addresses this because it has been a repeated experience, and it is disappointing considering how great the rest of the team is.

  Richard is always in a great mood, and the service is amazing. I am celiac and this is one of the few places I can confidently eat. By far the best mall vendor I have been to!

  The team here is so so kind and always greet you with a smile!! They’re very attentive and always curious to see how you’re doing! Also the food is fire and affordable, so definitely eat here! I recommend the truffle fries

  We are rating the fries and only the fries 1. Structural integrity: 0.2/5 Does not hold up, reminds me of building with wet cardboard 2. Seasoning: 2/5 Non existent...they are just embracing the fact that it's a potato 3. Texture: 3/5 I was just happy when I got a fry with no skin I guess 4. Shape/length: 2.6/5 Just not a substantial fry, doesn't cut it for me 5. Consistency: -1/5 They fled the crime scene 6. Colour: 3/5 Beautiful sunset like gradient 7. Presentation: 4/5 It's a great to go box...just kind of plain 8. Overall enjoyment: 4/5 Scorched earth taste, not entirely unpleasant 9. Dryness: 5/5 They just hit the spot after a day of mostly dry fries We were judging just their basic fries. I'm very certain the specialty ones are extravagant.
