Onion rings were soggy but everything else was good, and it didn't take too long. The problem was the service. The waiter and the hostess had an open argument in front of my family after she sat us in his section, wildly inappropriate start to the night. Every single thing that was wrong was a 2 minute run back to the kitchen. About 7 things that were forgotten, only 4 we asked to be fixed, and each time it was minutes of waiting to get things like cutlery, sauces, ingredients in the meal, anything that we needed to enjoy our meal. Our server also had a very strong accent, and English was clearly not his first language, obviously contributing to the inability to communicate properly with us and take the order well. Found myself doing a lot of the looking over my shoulder awkwardly waiting for the waiter to appear, noticed other tables were being heavily ignored too, it wasn't just us. They were reasonably busy, but nothing crazy, maybe 20% empty tables, and no wait time. Not busy enough for the service to be so poor. In the beautiful town of Jasper there are many businesses eager to serve, this is not one of them
