  Order uber eats. Food was excellent. Only thing is when your in a hotel and put on the notes lots of napkins please and get 3 when you have 3 people and these burgers are messy. When your order is 90 plus dollars you think lots of napkins should not be an issue.

  Me and my boyfriend went here last night, absolutely amazing service!! The girl who helped us out last night was so sweet, came to check on us multiple times, and the food was amazing! All 3 of the girls service was amazing despite how busy they were. 10/10 to those girls! And the restaurant was so clean despite it being so busy!

  Aman was extremely polite and friendly, and provided excellent customer service. The food was fresh, well-prepared, and served very quickly. Overall, it was a great experience, and Aman’s professionalism and attentiveness really stood out. I would definitely recommend and look forward to visiting again.

  A Solid Burger Stop with Heart Behind the Counter There’s something inviting about walking into a place where the first thing you notice isn’t the menu, it’s the smile behind the counter. That was my experience at Wayback Burgers in Edmonton. From the moment I stepped in, the team was genuinely kind, welcoming, and attentive. Not rushed. Not mechanical. Just real people serving with big smiles and that matters more than most realize. The Food Experience The burger menu is impressive. Plenty of options, creative combinations, and the kind of variety that makes you pause for a moment before ordering. When the burger came, it delivered on flavor. Juicy, satisfying, and well put together. That said, for my personal preference, it leaned a bit more on the greasy side than I would normally go for. Not a dealbreaker, but something worth noting if you prefer a lighter bite. One small disappointment: the bacon. I was expecting something closer to what’s shown in their photos, thicker, more substantial cuts, but what came out was the thinner, more standard style you might find at a hotel breakfast. Still good, just not quite what was anticipated. The Space The restaurant itself feels modern, clean, and comfortable. It’s the kind of place you can sit down, relax, and enjoy your meal without feeling rushed. A Word of Encouragement To the team: keep going. Your friendliness is not small—it’s part of what sets this place apart. In a world where service can often feel transactional, your kindness feels intentional. That’s worth building on. If the kitchen continues to refine just a few details, this place could easily move from good to exceptional.

  The burger was average good. I have an issue with the big ad for $6.99 for a burger, but the real price for a normal burger there is over $10.00. Definitely misleading in my opinion. I thought they were Canadian as well, but I was wrong. Wayback is AMERICAN, based in Connecticut. If I want to pay a lot for a burger it might as well from a Canadian company like Harveys or even A&W that is completely split now from the American side. This location is VERY new, less than 1 year I think. So I also suspect they ‘bought’ reviews to get that many reviews that quickly.
