The thicker parts of the chicken didn't feel fully cooked, or they used frozen chicken breast and cooked it too fast. It was too dense and chewy. Also don't bother paying extra for the cheese bread, you hardly get any cheese on it.

Unfortunately, the server informed us that they had run out of the festive special, so we had to order from the regular menu instead. When the food arrived at our table, we were very surprised and disappointed by the quantity, quality and presentation of the chicken, coleslaw, and fries. We are regular customers of Swiss Chalet at other locations, such as Spruce Grove and Edmonton but at this particular location, we did not expect the food to be presented so poorly. The portion size of the chicken was also much smaller than what we are used to. The value for the money we paid was not worth the amount and quality of food served. If a restaurant runs out of advertised specials, the signage should be removed to avoid misleading customers. Additionally, staff should be trained to regularly check on customers and ensure their needs and satisfaction are met.
