The place was packed, the dinner rush was in full swing, and the manager thought it was a great idea to have only one staff member on shift. The girl working was doing everything she possibly could taking orders, making subs, cashing people out, trying to keep the line moving and you could see she was overwhelmed because she was basically running the entire store by herself. She handled it like a champ, but she should never have been put in that position. This isn’t a staffing issue, it’s a management issue. Dinner time is always busy. Schedule properly. Support your staff. Don’t leave one person to carry the whole store while customers wait in a long line.
