I went to the store at 9:53 pm and as soon as I entered the deli manager Andrea told me you just have 4 mins to finish your shopping. I understood they were in rush for closing. I finish everything by 9:58 and I was at the counter with cashier helping me out. I just went nearby to check ice cream till cashier ring my items and I came back in a less than a min and noticed the manager put my items back saying store is closed. She added my cashier won’t stay past 10pm few times. But then she also added saying don’t come next time to me thrice. Seriously? This is the way you treat your customer. If cashier can’t why can’t the manager help just for a min. She did ring my items at the end but she should know they are not giving out anything for free to be that rude.

The past 3 times I’ve made a visit, there’s only one person working the front of the store (self-checkout, customer service desk, and main checkouts) resulting in lineups. This was during peak weekday hours too. Staff are nowhere to be found in the Deli for service, and the well-advertised price match has turned into a struggle lately with staff not knowing how to enter price match into the system at checkout. When Staff are in fact trained on price match, they are generally reluctant to honour it saying they need the physical flyer. Photos of the flyer with the correct date have been honoured in the past but not lately. I’m very inclined to move all my grocery shopping to another store. Not impressed and quite disappointed. This used to be my favourite store.
