Extremely Unprofessional assistant Store Manager I’ve had multiple unpleasant experiences with the assistant store manager, Raj, and today was the final straw. Raj consistently “picks” on customers and even his own staff — I’ve seen him speak to employees in a rude, dismissive tone more times than I can count. His customer service is absolutely terrible. I recently tried to return a salad that I purchased six days ago, because it had already expired the day after I bought it. Any reasonable manager would have understood, but Raj refused to exchange or refund it and acted like he was making up his own rules on the spot. He was condescending, dismissive, and completely unwilling to help. He even told me it was not right that I was returning a salad 6 days later after expiry once he had verified it was bought directly from his store 7 days prior. He did nothing but argue and waste my time. This is not the first time I’ve had poor experiences with him. His attitude is consistently unprofessional, and the way he stares people down and talks to them is extremely uncomfortable. I shouldn’t have to feel intimidated or disrespected by a store manager when simply trying to resolve an issue. This location seriously needs better leadership. Raj’s behaviour reflects very poorly on the entire store. There is a handful of us that have discussed Raj and his behaviour and we have all had similar experiences. We begin wonder if it’s due to our race as it feels like he goes above and beyond to make sure we feel this way and even when addressed he doesn’t care.

ask one of the lady if they still have organic oats, her respond was "I cant get it right now" customer service zero. everytime I want to get Lotto max, I have to wait for 30 mins. Cashiers pretending that they cant see me. I gave up and go somewhere else for my lottery. If I can give a zero, I would.

The worst customer service. They have 7 cashier stalls but today only 2 cashiers open and 17 people in line!! That's not good customer service. Its the worst store for LONG line ups and never enough cashiers open. Take away some of the cashier stalls and put self checkouts in, it would be so much faster.

3 for $15 sushi is a game changer and one of the main reasons i come here instead of safeway. I also think the store is so bright and clean. Im obsessed with the clearance rack in the back of the store near the milk. Sometimes the lines are very long but im used to costco lines so this is pretty fast anyways. Canada is overpopulated in comparison to our infrastructure so yes there will be lines and waiting practically anywhere now. The produce is amazing quality, and i price match too so the prices are always great for me. I go to the food bank then come here to fill in the gaps from that so i pretty much only spend $30 at a time. I love the younger staff they always do a great job and are friendly enough in their little gen z way haha. I have all my prescriptions here and the pharmacy staff works incredibly hard and are so kind. I will continue to come here pretty much every other day for all i need thank you.
