It’s definitely been a hit or miss here for exceptional customer service. Some experiences are pleasant and others are questionable!? Certain staff are not very helpful or engaging. I do appreciate the ones who show respect and kindness! I understand the whole theft prevention thing is happening all over. However it’s starting to make a simple grocery run feel uncomfortable and somewhat awkward! Security poking around corners and quite literally getting in the way of us-pay patrons is ridiculous. The old lady at the back is less than pleasurable to engage with and certain cashiers are miserable. I think the manager should take a visit to Belmont Sobeys and see what a thriving community/business looks like.

I ordered groceries through Uber today! And you know what? It's trash! I am very dissatisfied with this order. I ordered a different pizza, but I received another one without my approval. I ordered blueberries, but they were replaced with blackberries, which are a more expensive product that I did not choose. I ordered iceberg lettuce, but instead I received curly cabbage, which is a completely different item. Additionally, one of the eggs is broken, and the eggs were packed very poorly, which caused damage inside the carton. These substitutions were made without my consent, and the quality of the order does not meet basic standards. I am requesting a refund for the incorrect and damaged items. Why couldn’t you simply cancel those products that were not available? Why was it necessary to put what I don’t want? Is it hard to understand what an iceberg lettuce is and what blueberries are? I didn't ask me to change to other products, if I wanted to, I would choose them myself. So why should I have it now if I ordered something else? The pizza I ordered is no longer available after I ordered it, it was brought to me, and after 2 hours it was gone! Shame

This has been a go to grocery store for me for the better part of 20 plus years. That being said, over the last year it's been increasingly difficult to continue to shop here. The "Save On" in the name I find is becoming less true with every visit. Now you can save if you purchase their Western Family products which is a phenomenal product. However, when comparing it to that if their competitors brand product (which are similar in quality), it's still cheaper to shop elsewhere for the most part. Now Save On has become a "if I need it and have no other options " kind of place. Also, I have noticed (albeit limited visit) that when I do find myself here, it seems like this store has a issue with keeping things well stocked. I don't know if this is a regular issue or something I just happen to notice? Regardless, that's another reason for my rating. That being said, the customer service is and always has been phenomenal and that's why I have given a 3 star rating and why I do still shop here every so often.
