  I will never order from Original Joe's again. Especially not this location. I order from Skip for a meal for my family. In the order I paid for 2lbs of wings. When it got to my home it seemed short, so I weighed it. It wasn't even a full pound. I called them to speak to them about it. First woman who answered was pleasant and tried to explain that a 1lb order of wings is weighed before cooking. (I don't agree with advertising it as 1 lb, but that was beside the point, I didn't even get what they claim it should be) I'm not paying for uncooked wings, I'm paying for cooked wings. The menu doesn't say 1lb of uncooked wings then cooked. It says 1lb of cooked wings. I didn't mention any of that to her, I just explained that 2lbs of uncooked wings doesn't drop to less than 1lb after cooking and that this order seems off. She asked me to hold and then Janie, the manager, came on and introduced herself with her name and job title. I explained to her the situation and that 2lbs of wings doesn't drop down to less than 1lb after cooking them, they would maybe lose a couple hundred grams, but that it also shouldn't be advertised as 2lbs of cooked wings if I'm getting 2lbs of uncooked wings, after which they cook them. She said a 1lb order is 9 wings which, in her own words, is "around 1 pound." So not only are they not giving you one pound cooked, they're not even giving you 1lb uncooked, they're giving you 9 wings whether that comes out to 1lb or not. So why not just advertise an order as 9 wings? Because they know it is misleading people into thinking they are getting more than they actually are. She then proceeded to tell me there was nothing she could do and that I could file a complaint with corporate and claimed that I was yelling at her. I asked her at which point did I even raise my voice, to which she said "well, you're being aggressive." I said I was being assertive, not aggressive, and that there's a big difference between the two. I wasn't being rude, or annoyed, and I definitely wasn't yelling or being aggressive. I told her that I was, in fact, going to file a complaint after she attempted to lie about the conversation and that I was going to be sure to include her name and behaviour in the complaint. I asked her to please repeat her name for me, as I had forgotten what it was, to which she said "you can include the location in the complaint." I told her "no, there is a reason you introduce yourself with your name and job title at the beginning of the call" (this is done so employees can be held accountable if they treat customers poorly). She then finally repeated her name and I said thank you and goodbye and ended the call. Not only are they using misleading advertising, they aren't even adequately filling the order according to the misleading menu. The prices have only risen over the years and the orders haven't gotten smaller. Now they aren't even filling the orders fairly. I will not order from this location again, and I may never order from Original Joe's again depending on how corporate responds to the complaint I have filed. Choose where to spend your money wisely. If a company continues to get away with misleading practices, it will only continue to get worse. Be sure you are getting what you pay for and don't settle for less. Go somewhere else that won't mislead you.

  A delightful evening at Original Joe’s last night ! Great choice for all 10 of us dining out at Ellerslie Location, after our 2.OH Group walk to see the Halloween displays in a nearby neighbourhood. Food yum yum - hats off to the chef and staff 😋 service exceptional - BIG THANK YOU HANNA 🫶🏻

  The service was excellent, the food is also great, best fries in Edmonton, the onion rings were a little disappointing, but portion size is very good, The only thing is it gets a little loud when there is lots of people dining. But we will be coming back !!!

  the food is good but Stephanie was careless and unprofessional. No greetings no courtesy, and a terrible attitude overall.
