  We stopped by New York Fries at West Edmonton Mall during our shopping trip and decided to try their fresh-cut fries. They were absolutely delicious — perfectly crispy on the outside, soft and fluffy on the inside, and seasoned just right. You can really taste the quality of the potatoes, and they’re served hot and fresh, which makes a huge difference. The location in Phase 1 of the mall is really convenient if you’re exploring the shops or just need a quick snack break. The staff were friendly and efficient, so we didn’t have to wait long even though it was a busy day. Overall, it’s a reliable spot for anyone craving classic, flavorful fries. Definitely a place I’d go back to for a quick, satisfying snack while wandering around West Edmonton Mall.

  If I could give zero stars, I absolutely would! I paid with a gift card, and the cashier charged me TWICE. I am showing proof, yet the manager, Jasper Pinto, acted like I was the problem—rude, dismissive, and completely unprofessional. This is a massive store, and it’s embarrassing that they don’t even understand how gift card transactions work—when you pay with gudt card the last 4 digits can show differently! I called ahead, and another manager told me to come in to get a refund and explain everything. I traveled all the way from South for this, only to be treated like I’m wasting their time. The incompetence here is unbelievable. Boycott this New York Fries, especially the one in the complex with McDonald’s. Terrible service, terrible management, complete nightmare.

  Was there today with my kids and husband, my husband & son ordered fries and a hot dog. Half way through eating we noticed a staff member DUSTING the top of theatre menu screens over all of the food 🤮 there was 3 employees there and NOBODY thought that was disgusting? They instantly stopped eating (if they think that is okay, what else to do think is okay to do with our food?!) I walked by and said “that’s absolutely disgusting you should not be dusting over all the food” the lady working the till smiled and said “sorry” but didn’t think to tell the other employee to stop. So waste of money & a meal.

  Such a disappointing experience!! There was a girl wearing glasses working on front on 24th oct around 5 pm. She was working on a big order so I assumed must be for customers before me so I waited patiently and she was working with a speed of tortoise while she had receipts piled up in front of her. Other lady was taking orders and trying to get small things done in between no complaints for her. But that girl with specs should be either told to prioritise and work fast or fired. That big order she was working on turned out to be delivery order. I was so pissed off because I waited for more than 15 mins just for 1 classic poutine and I was on my break which was ruined. I did not say anything to her as I didn’t want to waste my energy on her. But she needs to do better.
