You pay a bit more but imo the food is a step up from your typical MacD’s, A&W and Wendy’s. The self serve free peanuts is a nice touch. Because of the open containers of peanuts and their use of peanut oil, 5 Guys is probably not be suitable for those with peanut allergies. The staff were very good at taking our order and we got our food in short order. The parking directly out front can fill up but there’s usually lots of space in the lot towards the Homedepot.

The only products we offer that contain gluten are our buns, hot dogs (Canada only), HP sauce (UK only), and the malt vinegar condiment for our fries. Serving peanuts for free began as a way for people to pass the time while they waited for us to cook up their meals (way back in the day, before smartphones). It was such a hit, and has become such a Five Guys tradition, that we keep our stores stocked with peanuts to this day.

Leftover fries are excellent reheated in the oven (or Air Fryer). According to Chad Murrell, one of the Five Guys, just pop them in a 350-degree oven for about 10-15 minutes.
