I placed my order ahead of time and provided my information when I was next in line. Initially, I was told my order had not been placed, so I said that was fine and began to leave. I was then told that my order was in fact there, but that I needed to prove who I was. I completely understand the need to verify identification and had no issue showing ID. What I did have an issue with was the way I was spoken to. When I calmly asked for the employee’s name so I could raise a concern about how the situation was handled, I was yelled at and belittled in front of the entire restaurant. The interaction should be visible on your security cameras. I would never treat someone that way if the roles were reversed. I am simply asking for professionalism and respectful treatment. I hope this matter is taken seriously.

Does Five Guys offer gluten-free options?
The only products we offer that contain gluten are our buns, hot dogs (Canada only), HP sauce (UK only), and the malt vinegar condiment for our fries. In Canada, our Poutine Gravy condiment also contains gluten. All of our sandwiches, including burgers, hot dogs and the veggie sandwich, are available without a bun via our wrap or bowls.

Serving peanuts for free began as a way for people to pass the time while they waited for us to cook up their meals (way back in the day, before smartphones). It was such a hit, and has become such a Five Guys tradition, that we keep our stores stocked with peanuts to this day.

Leftover fries are excellent reheated in the oven (or Air Fryer). According to Chad Murrell, one of the Five Guys, just pop them in a 350-degree oven for about 10-15 minutes.
