  We used to go (2 years ago) frequently to Blanco, but moved out of downtown area. Was always great and authentic. Today’s experience was very different. Firstly the service was excellent. Have nothing but good things to say about the girls at the front and our server. The food came out very fast as well. There are a couple of new things on the menu since we were there last. We tried the queso. This was super disappointing. Had really no flavour at all. If you stir up the little blob of salsa or whatever was in the middle that helped but it truly lacked any seasoning or flavour. Tacos were ok. Tiny little ones for sure, and we ordered a variety; battered shrimp, garlic shrimp and chicken. All of which seemed to lack any real depth of flavour. As a result I asked for salsa on the side. Use to love their salsa. This was shockingly bad. Watered down. Like liquidy and had no flavour at all. Bland as can be. Not true salsa. Something has definitely changed since we were there last. But thankfully they still had the white hot mayo to help improve everything. Probably won’t be returning.

  Well if you want authentic Mexican food, you don't go here. Their food is okay and good service. When I see a burrito bowl with rice which doesn't exist in Mexico, hard pass for me. But that's just my opinion between friends

  Such a great spot, the food is always fast and fresh, and the servers are always sweet and on time. we always seem to get Aislinn, and she is hands down the best server in the city. you'll never go thirsty when she is around! we come every tuesday, and will continue to do so!

  Taco Salad given WITHOUT Taco. I ordered the Taco Salad through Uber Eats and it arrived WITHOUT the crispy taco/tortilla bowl — again. This is now the third time this has happened. I even wrote a note asking them not to forget it like last time, but I still received basically just a salad in a container. When you’re paying over $20, the item should be complete and match what’s shown and described. Mistakes happen once, but THREE TIMES is a pattern. Sharing this so management can look into the packing process and prevent it from happening to others. I am highly disappointed and couldnt stop myself from writing review this time.

  I went here for lunch excited and hungry. I left here sick feeling and annoyed. Honestly the food quality at this place is gross. I had the chicken burrito and rice. They used what tasted like and had the texture of canned/bagged chicken. The only thing that was good on the burrito was the tortilla. The rice tasted extremely old and also like it came out of a microwave bag. 2 lunch burritos and 2 diet cokes was 50 dollars. If I was getting fresh grilled or freshly cooked chicken and ingredients I would pay that all day, But for disgusting canned or bagged chicken and old sides. This place should be ashed of them selves. Also the staff spends way to much time chatting. I waited 20 minutes to get my bill on a slow lunch afternoon. Fire the staff and close the doors. You are wasting valuable real-estate have this restaurant open.
