  We’ve been coming to this restaurant regularly and usually have a good experience, but this last visit was very disappointing. Our waitress, Kevine, only came to take our initial order and then we didn’t see him again during the meal. When we wanted to order additional drinks, we had to find another staff member to help us. The same thing happened when we asked for the bill, another waitress had to assist us. However, when it was time to pay and he noticed we didn’t leave a tip, he immediately checked the machine and angrily asked what was wrong. We told him nothing was wrong, but he responded very rudely and walked away. It felt uncomfortable and unprofessional. We understand that tips are appreciated, but service quality should not depend on it, and confronting customers angrily about it is not acceptable. Unfortunately, this experience really changed how we feel about coming back.

  We had a great meal here. The steak with shrimp is fantastic - could have had more refried beans and double the chimichurri sauce. The Braised Beef tacos were amazing. ** Would also be nice to have chips and salsa as a complimentary starter. I had a blood orange margarita which was very good. Look forward to returning and trying an assortment of tequila.

  We went to Anejo for lunch yesterday as a group of six and had such a wonderful experience! The food was fresh, flavorful, and came out quickly, which made it perfect for a relaxed lunch outing. Krenil was absolutely amazing — attentive, friendly, and so professional. He managed our table effortlessly, made great recommendations, and ensured everything was perfect for us. His service truly stood out and made our lunch even more enjoyable. We’ll definitely be back. Highly recommend — and ask for Krenil if you can!

  I recently visited Añejo on 104 Avenue, and it was a solid choice for Mexican food in Edmonton. The food arrived surprisingly quick—our tacos and apps came out fast without feeling rushed. Service was attentive and efficient, which made the whole experience smooth. The place looked clean, modern, and well-kept, with a nice vibrant vibe that's great for a night out near Jasper Ave. That said, it's definitely on the higher end of the price range for what you get—premium tacos, margaritas, and that huge tequila selection come with a matching bill. Portions and quality are good, but it's not an everyday spot unless you're splurging. Overall, I'd happily come back once in a while for a special occasion or when I'm craving something upscale and fun. Worth it for the atmosphere and speedy service! Recommended if you're in the area

  You might wanna sit down for this review. Añejo in Edmonton is a straight up 5/5. From the second we walked in everything just felt right. The vibe is unreal, perfect mix of fun and classy, and the service from Nicole was honestly perfect. She was super friendly, quick with everything, and made the whole experience feel personal. You can tell she actually cares and isn’t just going through the motions. She made great recommendations and checked in at the right times without hovering. Now the food… the tacos were actually to die for. Packed with flavour, cooked perfectly, and not skimpy at all. Every bite was one of those “okay wow” moments. You can tell the ingredients are fresh and they know exactly what they’re doing back there. And the margaritas? Dangerous in the best way. So smooth, perfectly balanced, not overly sweet, just unreal. Easily some of the best margaritas I’ve had in Edmonton. Overall, Añejo absolutely nailed it. Amazing atmosphere, unreal food, and Nicole made the night even better. If you’re thinking about going, just go. You won’t regret it.
