- BMBruce Mattia5 days ago4.0KFC (aka Dirty Bird 😀) Hey, it’s Kentucky Fried Chicken. KFC. Dirty bird. Call it whatever you want — it’s deep fried and today it hit the spot. I went with a combo; 3 pieces, poutine, pop and popcorn chicken. It was hot, it was fresh and it was great value, they even let me choose all dark meat. Not too long to wait and we ate in store which always ensures the best experience possible. The poutine? Better than most fast-food versions I’ve had in a while. Surprising? . . . not really given their thick gravy, and . . . the curds were properly added and disbursed. Friendly service, no attitude, and when we realized we’d over-ordered they were quick to hand over a to-go box without hesitation. Appreciated that. The place was immaculately clean, which matters always but on the Gasoline Alley between Edmonton and Calgary there are lots of choices and plenty of competition. Glad I chose this establishment today. Excellent option.
