- RMR M1 day ago3.0The service could have been a little more attentive. The chicken Milanese had great spaghetti but lousy chicken. The gnocchi and Moroccan chicken were ok. Nothing special. The maple chicken was lousy. The plate presentations were of bar quality which was surprising since it shows off as a fancier place. Trio appy was very good as was the bread. The chef needs to eat his own food and kick it up a notch.

Madison was friendly, welcoming, and very competent. For a group of 12, every dish came out correctly, in a timely manner, and our drinks were all kept topped up. I always look for places that have vegan and gluten free options as I never know who has what dietary requirements. Owen’s menu has plenty of options for both and the restaurant has a gluten free fryer. I highly recommend this restaurant.

Nolan was a fantastic server and really went the extra mile to make us feel welcomed. Owens Landing is a gem and a perfect example of Calgary hospitality. The food was fantastic (try the gnocchi and the risotto!), the drinks were superb, the beer was hoppy, and the staff are the highest point. To the management team, Nolan is exactly who you want serving at your restaurant. He’s the sort of person that makes you feel welcomed and heard. Nolan went the extra mile and made me a killer whiskey sour that wasn’t on the menu. Probably one of the best whiskey sours I’ve ever had! If that was on the menu to start with, I probably would have ordered two or three! Thanks for hosting my wife and I, Nolan. We’ll be back next time we’re in Calgary!

He was incredibly polite and knowledgeable. He walked us through the menu and suggested dishes that were exactly what we were looking for. It’s rare to find such a combination of great food and such attentive service. Will definitely be coming back
