  My Wife and I decided to try this place for dinner on a Friday night. The hostess was really nice, we got a nice table and were served promptly by Anderson. Very polite and a good server. My Wife ordered a Cajun chicken burger. We ordered some salad, coleslaw, calamari and everything was great. However, I ordered a beef dip which was really tasty. This was a $25 plate. Problem was the french fries were pathetic. A very very skimpy amount of fries, which consisted mostly of very tiny burnt ends. I wasn't happy to say the least. I wanted to say something but my Wife didn't want me to make a scene. If I owned or managed this restaurant I would feel ashamed to give a $25 plate looking like that.... We will not be returning to this restaurant.

  Pretty disappointed. $23 salad with old lettuce, no tarter sauce given with fish and chips meal, no ketchup offered with grilled cheese meal, no drinks until we asked 3 times and appetizer came out after the meal was already half eaten. Server was rude and didn't care to make it right - we had to ask another server. The table next to us also had issues.. Won't be back, will go to another place down the road next time. Brought out a meal that wasn't ours then charged us for it. $129 Sucks for them my partner manages bars all over the city...

  Janet our server was excellent and very personable! The food was awesome. We were celebrating our friends birthday and they were all good to us. The manager Cortney was also a pleasure to deal with! We will definitely come back here!

  I came with friends to celebrate my 70th birthday at Deerfoot City Original Joe’s in Calgary. Not only is the food always good, the staff went above and beyond taking care that not only were our needs met but exceeded with courtesy, humour, and making us all feel as special a day as turning 70 can be ;). A special thank you to Janet and Courtney for making it such a wonderful experience today and frankly every time we have been here. 🥳

  My friends and I are blown away Myself, my husband and our friend ate there last night. We were met by a lovely waitress, whose name eluded me I told her that I am anaphylactic to paprika… Yes, the spice that is in everything The first thing she asked me was if I carried an EpiPen and asked where it was. She then told me she was first aid certified, and that she will take this extremely seriously I ordered something that I had Eaten before But despite that she checked with the kitchen, advised them of the allergy And came back out to confirm every ingredient with me I got my food first, My husband and friend got theirs after she confirmed that delivering their food to the same table would be safe for me as well She went above and beyond to ensure that I could safely eat there! She told me that she has her own EpiPen as well if needed. This is how anaphylactic allergies should be handled. I unfortunately went into anaphylaxis twice in two weeks and I’ll be honest I am Terrified to eat at restaurants unless I have had it before. We will Absolutely be back
