  Truly one of the worst experiences I've ever had at a restaurant. We are a party of 3 (myself, my husband, and my friend). I had made a reservation online earlier that week, for 6:30pm, as we were attending the 8:00pm hockey game. We arrive on time for our reservation. The first thing said to us upon arrival is "There's only bar seating available" until we clarify that we had in fact made a reservation. They seat us and then proceed to ignore us for the next 15 minutes. Once someone realizes we've been ignored, they apologize and run over to take drink orders. Our waitress finally arrives to take food orders and mentions we could get a free appetizer or dessert for waiting. So, my husband and I order an appetizer and our entrees. My friend has a few food allergies, which can usually be accomodated by properly prepared vegan or gluten free options. She mentions this to the waitress, and asked about simply ordering a side of fries. The waitress then states there is no separate fryer, and so the fries would be cross contaminated. My friend decides to play it safe and just orders a side of veggies and ranch. So much for vegan/gluten free options. They finally bring us our food around 7:30pm. My friend gets a plate of soggy vegetables with ranch on the side. My food and my husband's food is fine. I feel awful for my friend for suggesting even coming here. Finally we get our bills, and much to our surprise, they have charged us for the supposedly "free" appetizer they had offered us. Since we were already going to be late for the hockey game, we just paid our bill and left. This is the first time ever we've gone out to dinner and not tipped.

  I had the worst server ever! She was extremely rude the entire time. Made the atmosphere feel very unwelcome and as if we were a burden at the establishment. For lack of a better term, our server was an “attitudey Judy”. Conveniently, our server was polite once it was time to pay. Also, the Gluten Free options are not celiac friendly.

  We had a really disturbing experience at Original Joe’s. We ordered our food and were waiting when, out of nowhere, we saw mice running right next to our feet. One of them even grabbed a fry that had fallen beside our booth. It was absolutely disgusting. We immediately felt grossed out, got up, left our drinks, and asked to have our food packed to go. The server didn’t ask any questions or seem surprised — just gave us a side eye — which honestly made it feel like this isn’t the first time this has happened. Seeing mice running around the dining area is completely unacceptable. We were so uncomfortable and disappointed. Definitely will not be coming back.
