We went there tonight around 7:30pm. Yes it was New Years Eve, but the restaurant wasn’t even half full. We waited about 10 minutes to even get seated. Several employees saw us, walked by us, but no one stopped to even greet us or seat us. Finally we get seated. 3/10 tables had patrons. Another 15 minutes of waiting, no one came to get our drinks, nothing. My husband finally got up to get some service. He went to the lady that sat us, only for her to tell him to look for someone else, as she is now off. He finally spoke to 3 servers and they looked over at our table with deer in the headlight eyes. Seriously… the restaurant is practically empty and you don’t notice people sitting at a table? Finally a man came over…assuming he’s the manager? Asked for our drinks… 2 waters and a glass of wine… easy to remember you think?… no… we got 1 glass of water, 1 ice tea and a glass of wine. Another server came, got our order. Never came back to see how we were doing, if we needed anything. We had to flag a server down, as we had asked for more napkins when they served us our food and no napkin. By this time, our glasses were empty, asked for another glass of wine and water refills and again, still waiting for napkins that we had asked for when the food first came out. Service was just horrific. If you have the patience to chase after someone to serve you , then this could be your place

I’m really disappointed. I sent my husband in for the family size $10 soup chicken noodle soup, and he came back with nothing because they told him our gift card “didn’t exist.” He waited about 20 minutes just to be told there was nothing on the card, which is completely untrue. This was a $100 gift card we received as a gift, and there is money on it. To make matters worse, the lady before him had the same issue. They told her she only had $3 on her card even though she had literally just broken it off the activation piece. The drive-thru is another ongoing issue, it rarely works, and when it does, you can barely hear anything. There are never signs posted when it’s down, so you’re left sitting there waiting with no idea what’s going on. What really frustrated me is that no one even tried to help. They didn’t attempt to check the balance another way or direct my husband on how to verify it himself. When he told me what happened, I went online, entered the gift card number and code, and sure enough, there was money on the card, more than enough to cover the $10 soup. So thank you, Swiss Chalet. I’ll be using the rest of the balance at Montana’s or somewhere else it allows. I’m only giving two stars because I genuinely enjoy the soup, but the service is absolutely not there. Update: I was reached out by Vino who was extremely pleasant and resolved the issue. Thank you, I changed my rating for you.

The Swiss Chalet restaurant is amazing restaurant. The food is very delicious. Service is awesome. All employees respect the customers very well. I saw respect, patience, kindness and from all servers in the restourant. Chicken and fries very nice. We enjoy it with my whole family. We have planned to visit in to this restourant weekly with my beautifully kids.

It was my first time eating here yesterday. Not that busy but it did take awhile for our waitress to take our order. Jenny seems nice but when I saw we could use our scene points I wanted to check if I had any other offers and I did but when I asked to change my order from their tuesday special which is 2 can dine for $20 into what I saw I had, which was an appi and dessert on top for $30 from my scene app. She said because I didn't tell her earlier it was too late. As this is my first time being here I expected at least some form of understanding but I didnt want to create any mess on her part as I have been a waitress myself but typically I would tell customers to check if they have any offers on the app before ordering. Overall, I may not come back as I am disappointed by the service, it was not up to par from standard resturants. The food was good as the chicken meat was juicy but the chicken skin had some leftover feathers and was a bit dry I didn't mind it though. We just left the feathery part on the side as it may not have the chefs fault and was left behind by accident. Gravy was good as well.

Went to Swiss Chalet Country Hills Drive Thru only to wait for 30 mins on the line. When I asked the lady why it took that long, she they run out of chicken and it took awhile to cook them. Then she also mentioned that the 1st and the 2nd car infront of me also order something that took awhile to prepare. So can't park them on the side? If that's the case why they didn't tell us and let us make a decision if we are willing to wait for 30 mins long. It's frustrating most specially when you are super tired from work and are in a rush to go home as you still have another meeting to attend and you only have 1hr to prepare for it. That 30 minute wait in the drive thru is not acceptable.
