- TDTylor Dahl3 days ago1.0Lindsay behind the lunch counter is a nightmare. I bring my crew in here every chance we get for lunch. Today after work we got Lindsay. While we waited at the counter she fully changed the garbage which is fine, but she proceeded to put unwrapped food in the oven without a hand wash or gloves 🤢. Thankfully she did throw some gloves on and wash before serving us. Upon trying to pay at the counter she yelled at us to come get our food, we kinda shrugged and figured we would pay on our way out of the store as we wanted to eat in store. She proceeded to yell at the guy behind us in line that she “doesn’t speak Chinese” then got after us for not paying before eating but would not let us pay before we ate.. we all have jokes of “nightmare Lindsay” and will probably not come back do to the risk of dealing with her again.

I always buy groceries at Save on Foods at home, but here I met a very strange and rude person who chased me to my car which was at the far end of the parking, and blamed me that I had stolen something! I through away my receipt to the trash bin while exiting the store, but he insisted that I’m a thief. On my question what did I steal and what are the reasons to suspect me, he couldn’t answer.. instead looking at my license plate he said like “ah, Manitoba!..”. That is unacceptable! I paid for everything including soup I had eaten inside. I hope management will have a conversation with the staff and explain that it’s unacceptable to chase customers to the parking lot instead of checking the receipt inside the store, it’s unacceptable to blame on customers without any reasons and judge them due to the province they came from.
