I went to my community McDonald's asked them about the Christmas free sandwich giftcard promo and they told me it was a Walmart McDonald's promo only. I went to Midnapore McDonald's and they knew exactly what I'm talking about. Even allow me to claim the sandwich the same day I bought the gift card.
