I was super hungry and ordered Double cheese with bacon combo with onion rings and a small vanilla milkshake. My friend ordered a pop and we spilt the meal. When the staff started to assemble our burger, it looked super cold, flat, like it just came out of a 7-11 cooler. I asked for a fresh burger and the staff replied, “ if you want fresh you have to state upon ordering.” Not in a million years would I have imagined requesting fresh food!? With the cost of everything these days, my food absolutely should be fresh, without a request, that’s ridiculous. About 10 minutes later, I received my fresh food. It was delicious. However, I will never return.

There is a lot about my most recent visit I can gripe about, but to summarize: A friend of mine and I visited the location to buy food for both our families. They took their order, then just walked away before taking mine. Eventually a Swiss Chalet worker came to help me. They completed my friend's order normally, but then completed the person behind me in line order, then jumped over to the till and started taking new orders, all while my burgers were under the heat lamp for >10 minutes (that is according to the grill cook that was getting frustrated that he was running out of space). I finally received my food more than 20 minutes after my friend's order was complete, so theirs was now cold. Like I said, ice had multiple bad experiences at this location, so I'm done trying anymore. UPDATE: To their credit, the manager/owner of this location reached out to me within 24 hrs. They listened to my concerns and promised to use this experience to further train the staff. At some point in the future I'll give them another chance but I won't be updating my review until then.
