The brand has even expanded its menu to include poutine, but honestly, the Cajun fries on their own are still the superior choice. My go-to order is the bacon cheeseburger—which is a double by default—loaded “all the way” using their topping guide, from cheese down to the meat patties. It is, without question, one of the best burgers in the city. I have tried many of the newer gourmet burger joints that keep popping up, but it is difficult to compete with Five Guys. Their locations are spread throughout the city, not just downtown, which means easier access, parking, and far fewer headaches. No warnings about long lineups, no sell-outs, and no hype-driven disappointment like you often find at the latest “burger rave” spots. If you want a solid, delicious burger that delivers consistently every single visit, Five Guys is very hard to beat.
