I will start by saying this has been one of my favorite restaurants for a long time. I genuinely love the food — the burgers are good quality, and the fries are fantastic. I’ve never minded paying a little extra because it always felt worth it. Unfortunately, my last two visits have been extremely disappointing. The first issue occurred when I placed an online order and checked in at the front counter. I was told my name or number would be called when the food was ready. I then stood there for about 30 minutes watching my burger sit on top of the fry station even after bringing it to the front counters attention a few times. Eventually, someone noticed and rushed to hand it to me — by that point, it was a cold soggy mess. After that experience, I decided not to return for a while. However, I recently gave the restaurant another chance, hoping it was just an isolated incident. During this visit, my order number was never called. Instead, my food was handed to another customer. When that customer’s number was called, I informed the staff that the number being announced wasn’t mine. The employee then ran to retrieve the food that had already been handled by someone else. While they did remake the fries, they still handed me the same burger that had been out of sight and in another customer’s possession. That raised serious food safety concerns for me. I did get in contact with the general manager, who was professional in our correspondence and assured me the issues would be addressed, even offering incentives to return. I appreciate that effort. However, after two back to back negative experiences, it’s difficult to feel confident about giving it another try. I truly enjoy the food, but consistent service and proper handling matter just as much as taste. I hope these concerns are taken seriously, because this is a place I used to highly recommend.

We have been to most of the five guys in Calgary. Sunridge was excellent heritage was very good. This is our first time at this location. They forgot to put the bacon onto the burgers. My kids were halfway done when they noticed and they just gave us a handful of bacon to put on our burgers that were almost finished eating with. The quality of the burger was fine, but not to the standards of the last two that we’ve had at Sunridge in Heritage. you never mind paying more when the burger is high-quality.

Awful!!! Called ahead for a takeout order and I was told it'll be 10 mins Showed up after 15mins and they only started making it when I walked through the door And this was at 830 at night with 1 other customer in the restaurant so they weren't even busy. Terrible service, never going back

I remember trying this place once when it first opened in Calgary, so I decided to come back after a long time. The ordering process for the hot dogs was a bit confusing. Apparently, you can choose your own toppings, but I initially ordered a plain one and it came with nothing on it. When I asked the staff, they immediately brought out a variety of toppings in separate containers. I felt a bit bad, as it was really a communication issue. The space is quite large, and although it was past the lunch rush, it didn’t feel quiet or empty. I enjoyed a fresh burger and hot dog, and overall it was a pleasant experience. Thank you didi!

I thought I had plenty of time to order lunch before an important meeting, so placed my order. While my order was being prepared, I received a call indicating that the meeting was actually going to start in 10 minutes. I explained the situation to the staff and they were happy to let me leave my order in the restaurant to pick-up after the 15-20 minute meeting just across the parking lot. I was told that this was not a problem at all, and they would prepare my order fresh upon my return. I told staff that a fresh order was not at all necessary and that I just really appreciated their understanding and help. All staff on duty went above and beyond! First by letting me leave my order with them in the restaurant and then by preparing a fresh order for me including a fresh coffee milkshake! The staff really helped me out of a tight spot. They were outstanding!
