It seems like the Elephant and Castle are continuing to be a good pub to exist here. Service was pretty solid, good pub food and it appears to be a good spot to watch sports. I think we sat in the noisiest corner that everyone is drawn to as it looks out as the rest of the pub. Noise (especially of louder tables) REALLY carries, but let's face it, a pub isn't where you're going to go if you're looking for a quiet ambience. We had a couple of adult beverages, wings (these were great - not breaded, meaty and flavorful), whipped feta with tomatoes, and the onion soup (their version of French Onion). They have pretty good daily specials and happy hour too. We'll go back.

IMO it should be mandatory to have at least 1 dedicated security staff (preferably 2) on a busy night. I felt the environment was unsafe for female patrons who I witnessed being approached inappropriately on a number of occasions. I wanted to intervene and spoke to a bartender who mentioned that he has access to another bar nearbys security team. While this is a decent back up plan, I think there should be a better plan A. Just my two cents. 100% would go back.

I got it with their hot chocolate which was not on the menu but the staff were kind enough to make me one. Friendly and fast service. Parking is available infront of the restaurant, and a paid public parking site is also right across the street. I'd definitely visit here again if I'm in the neighborhood.
