- MCM CAug 31, 20162.0I've been coming to this location for about 2 1/2 years now. Didn't have many issues other than the typical DQ issues. Over priced food, lacking quality, sometimes old and sloppy burgers, orders constantly wrong and having to drive back, etc. Recently I went there and ordered a meal, and as I was chowing down on my onion rings, I had a funny feeling that I should look down. I found a dead fruit fly whom had obviously gotten in their fryer in my onion rings. I pulled him off by his one remaining wing. It was absolutely disgusting. I dug through the rest of my onion rings and found what looked to be an entire roasted fly. I almost threw up on the spot. We drove back, the manager gave us a half ass apology and tried telling us it was a BURNT PIECE OF ONION RING. Um what!? You can clearly see the legs, it's body, etc. Besides, I was a manager at DQ too...For over a year, I know a burnt piece of onion ring when I see one. I can tell you they probably didn't clean their fryers out until that night or the next morning. You can't drain them when they're boiling hot, so everyone else who ate there that day got a little bit of dead bug in their meal. Absolutely repulsive. After frequenting here for this long, I am absolutely shocked and honestly rather disappointed to not return, but this incident is unacceptable. I would hope that the owner reaches out and tries to rectify this issue, as comping the meal simply was not enough to get the bad taste of burnt fruit fly out of my mouth. DISGUSTING. I added photos of this to their google maps so please do go look so you can know this is not a BS story.
