The staff are lovely, the food consistent, AND just recently I used the washroom while I was waiting on my order and it was immaculate. The bathroom is actually what prompted me to write a review. It was so clean, smelled good, and clearly has been well taken care of. Sure, it's "just" a DQ. But it's a damn great DQ! 10/10 to the team.
- APAbi PhilipsNov 6, 20251.0Great staff but very poor hygiene in food preparation. I went to this location to purchase Triple burger today around 3:15pm and a nice older lady took my order. I was standing at the front at a close distance and watching the preparation of the burger by another older lady. While this lady was about to start preparing my order, the phone rang and she went ahead to pick up the call. Upon finishing the call, she did not wash her hands. She went ahead and started preparing my burger and without gloves and with the same dirty hands, I watched her picking the bread and the salad with her bare hands. She used the tongs to put the burger in the oven and without gloves, she still went ahead and took the take-away carton, the cheese, and the bread- all with a bare hand. I was going to walk away after seeing this dirty incident but decided to wait to talk to the older nice lady about this poor hygiene that I observed. This is a recipe for disaster and food poisoning. I will strongly advise the management to review the staff in the etiquette and protocols of food safety and preparation. I will not be returning to order food at the Diary Queen location forever.
