  Service is great, but food doesn’t have as much flavour as the other location… maybe the kitchen is still too new and clean here.

  Gio wasn’t even technically our server, but he still went out of his way to help us out and made the whole experience better. Super attentive, easy to talk to, and clearly cared about making sure we were having a good time. Little things like that don’t go unnoticed. Honestly made for one of my best restaurant experiences in a long time. I’ll definitely be back.

  Service was terrible here tonight. We got told upon entering at 4:35 that we needed to be out by 7, of course we assume that’s totally fine. However, we almost ended up being there until 7 because of how insanely slow it was today! We started with a male server who took our drink order who was nice, then a female server came to take over for food. We all ordered some tacos and an order of tater tots. The tacos all came out so slowly, 2 of us finished before half the table even got theirs and I was shocked how not warm the food was. We asked where the tater tots were, she looked confused and went to go ask the male server where our food was, as she totally forgot we even placed the order. Everything was so slow. It’s just super unfortunate as I really enjoy the restaurant, but it really ruined the vibe of the night.

  We've eaten here, off an on, since it opened. Friday's visit was disappointing. The quality of the food has declined. I had a classic burrito and, as another recent reviewer has commented, rice dominated. Bland or flavourless and without hot sauce would have been very boring. Poor presentation, no greenery and just a small pot of slaw. My wife had a couple of tacos which were hard to chew through. Given the competition that's increasing in West Springs, Blanco will have to do better. For a Friday evening the place seemed subdued.

  I made a reservation on opentable for lunch, but it turned out I didn’t need to. When we arrived, I saw a sign saying we could sit anywhere. Still, since I had a reservation, I wanted to check in with a server. There was a lady decorating Christmas stuff right in front of us who didn’t say hello or acknowledge us at all—just gave us a cold stare. We were treated like we were invisible. There were a few awkward minutes where the staff clearly saw us but still left us standing there, waiting to be noticed. Eventually, a server from the bar came over while we were all still standing there. I told her I had a reservation, and it still took a while for us to be seated. We were the only customers at that time, and I don’t understand why it took so long, especially since it was only 11:45 a.m. We chose this place because we live nearby and wanted to introduce it to my parents, but I think I made the wrong choice because we didn’t feel welcomed. The food was okay, but as a returning customer, I was disappointed with the service today.
