First time coming to this location and it was honestly great. I’ve been to most of the other Chipotles in the city except the southeast one, and this one stood out. Food was fresh, portions were generous, and the staff were nice. Definitely one of the better Chipotle locations in the city and better than the Northland one for sure.
I was so excited to visit Chipotle because it is my favorite American fast food chain. I live a bit outside of the city so seeing this in the area I was in was very exciting. Unfortunately my visit here was a bit disappointing. As other reviews mention, they skimp on the food. I got a veggie bowl and was hardly given any rice or beans (which is cheap) so that was disappointing. The owner or manager was also there hovering over the workers and he seemed really annoyed and aggravated at some of the workers which wasn’t a pleasant sight to see. The workers seemed nice so I felt bad but I couldn’t help but feel a bit bitter seeing as I felt kind of ripped off with the small amount of food they gave me. I may try other chipotle locations in Calgary at some point but I’ll probably stick with only visiting the chain in America where you get actual value for the money you spend

I really like the food at Chipotle Mexican Grill—You can definitely tell the ingredients are good quality. That said, the pricing is where it loses me. The portion sizes are surprisingly small for what you pay. Normally, when I order a rice, chicken, and salad bowl from other places, I can barely finish it—but here, the bowl is small enough that you can easily finish it and still feel like you could eat more.
If you try to make it a proper, filling meal, the cost adds up quickly. Extra chicken is almost $7, and even some sauces come with an additional charge of around $1 each. By the time you customize your bowl to a satisfying size, you're looking at close to $27, which honestly feels like a bit of a ripoff.
Overall, great food and healthy options—but definitely on the expensive side for what you get.

I recently ordered catering from Chipotle Sage Hill, and I had an amazing experience from start to finish. The food quality was excellent, and everything was fresh, well-prepared, and full of flavor. The portions were generous and perfect for the group, with everyone enjoying the variety of options available. You can really tell they maintain high standards when it comes to both ingredients and presentation.
What made the experience even better was the outstanding service. Kiran, the General Manager, went above and beyond to ensure everything was handled smoothly. From helping with the order to making sure everything was ready on time, the professionalism and attention to detail truly stood out. The entire team was friendly, organized, and very welcoming, which made the whole process stress-free.
The setup was neat, and everything was packed perfectly, making it easy to serve. It’s clear that the staff takes pride in their work and genuinely cares about customer satisfaction.
Overall, I highly recommend Chipotle Sage Hill for catering. Great food, excellent service, and a fantastic team led by Kiran. Definitely worth every dollar, and I will be ordering again in the future!

Not a great experience at all. From the beginning, as we walked in, the restaurant is very very dirty, it seemed like no one cleaned it for a while, there was food all over the floor and tables. There was no food, toppings, meat left for our orders. Everything was out of stock, not refilled, or being cooked. If you are new to Chipotle, this location is not where you should come. The servers did not help, they did not ask or offer anything much. The quantity is abysmal. Chipotle is known for over filled bowls that can barely be covered or closed, here we had almost half empty bowls. We had to wait for all the meats to be cooked, there was no queso or guacamole. There was so much advertising for “free guac” but there was no guac available. We had to wait for that. We signed up on the website for guac and showed the server as well but when it was billed we were charged for it. The server blatantly told us that we should have told her and scanned the free coupon, when she was present at the time that guac was put into our bowls. This establishment is being run by kids, who don’t know to communicate, have some team work going on or know anything about how restaurant kitchens work or even how Chipotle works. This branch is everything against what Chipotle as a company advertises and as a brand is known for. I’m very disappointed, and I won’t be coming here again and nor will my friends be coming here. It is very upsetting when good company’s and brand don’t uphold their quality across the board and as customers we are ripped off because of this lazy, incompetent attitude.
