Requested no mushrooms in a dish and received MANY mushrooms. Did not eat it. They did take it off the bill and I went home and made something to eat.
Mashed potatoes are very obviously instant and the steak was hard.
Lots of menu changes and the food has really gone downhill here.
Our server was great though.

If you are looking for nicely cooked food, without being overly spicy or too much seasoning, this restaurant has food that tastes good. I get sick from too much garlic, spices, or fats, and this restaurant has a number of items, that I can safely eat. When we order delivery, this is our go to restaurant in Airdrie. They always follow my special requests - not all take out restaurants do.
My husband enjoys their fish and chips, and burgers. The fish has a nice, light batter, and the fries are the best he’s eaten. They are wider than an average fry, and they are always cooked perfectly. He enjoys the dill and other sauces, they offer with their fries.
My favourite dish, is the beef dip. The dip is nicely flavoured, and I can order salad with it, instead of fries. I hate goat cheese. They ALWAYS follow my instructions, to not add it. Their honey glazed chicken and pistachio crusted salmon, are also good. They are served with mashed potatoes, and a wide choice of sides. Their asparagus, and mixed vegetables are delicious, and healthy!

My husband and I have been regulars at this location for years but over the last few months, the service has taken a steep decline. The host with red hair (and a pink blazer when we were there one night) was terribly rude. We asked to be seated away from the door in the lounge and he huffed and walked to a different table, tossed the menus on the table and walked away without even looking at us. The servers are frequently super slow and often forget what was ordered. I have more than once sat for 20 minutes waiting for them to bring my drink that I can see sitting, getting warm at the bar but they're standing around visiting and joking around with each other.
We went in last night to give it one more try because we like the food but we were seated and then ignored for over 20 minutes. The staff was not busy. They just puttered around at the bar. Nobody offered to start us with drinks and they never came to take our order. We finally got up and left.
My husband forgot his phone on the table and went back 20 minutes later and the menus and his phone were still on the table and nothing had been cleared. We were totally invisible and nobody cared that they lost a customer.
I'm thoroughly frustrated with the service and will not be patronizing this restaurant again. You lost a loyal customer of 6 years.

Went here Friday Oct 17th; food and service were both phenomenal. Had thr dumplings soup, beef dip, and Main burger; all tasted fantastic.
Went back Monday Oct 20th; both and service were sub-par. Disappointing because we thought we found a great go-to place when in Airdrie. Had the dumpling soup again. It’s still great. Beef dip though was full of fat and gristle this time. Had the teriyaki rice bowl which was just a mushy mess.
