- DHDevin Howard4 days ago1.0BEWARE OF WHAT YOUR SIGNING. Demand proper up to date paperwork. I got a 1,000 loan , paperwork said 63$ a month 42% interest rate. Next thing I know I'm required to pay $163 a month, with only $63 going towards what I owe and 100 going to the loanmax. So basically I'm paying $163 a month for 24 months to pay this off, bringing my total too $3968..... that can not be legal. Borrow $1,000 pay back $3,968????? That's 200% interest per year. They lied to get us to sign paperwork that was false and went back on their word. Im going to pay that scam place off and soon as possible and I WILL NEVER EVER BE RETURNING to Loanmax of Exmore! They take advantage of elderly people, I knew I should of did the talking for my elderly family member.... they scammed her good!
