I just want to say that I have found the people at FNB of River Falls at both the River Falls and Prescott branches to be very helpful and pleasant. From answering questions regarding safe deposit box use to providing notary service and questions of any type - they have been very responsive, professional and nice. I felt like they were looking out for me. Thank you!

An outstanding bank full of competent and friendly people. It is just the right size--not too big like the big banks who don't care and not too small where they don't have the capability to help you.

I was told by a worker that I could cash a check there even if I didn't have an account with them. After driving 20 miles to get there, they tell me they cannot cash the check. I wouldn't recommend this bank to anyone.

I have a 15 yr home loan with First and for the last two years they have not let me pay to keep the Escrow balance up to date. My insurance went up as well as taxes. In the past my husband and I had always been able to pay this up to help keep our payment down. The last two years the bank has not let me pay this up. Speaking to Allison on the phone I said that I would like to pay the Escrow amount up that I didn't want that adding to my loan. She said that the new payment plan would be coming out in a day or so. I again said I want to pay that amount off first like in the past. She said I don't know if you can do that, I said well when my husband was alive we did this all the time. What changed? I wanna pay it off. Well she said ,your new paper work and your new payment plan should be at your house shortly. That was that. Why did they do this. It's my money, I should SURE have a say. And WHY now can I not pay the Escrows to keep my account up to date besides them adding the money so they make more off me. I am now an widow and just trying to take care of MY money. Maybe they do this to more widow or single people and we just don't know. You know how the saying goes. I'm mad as hell and I'm not going to take it any more. I talked to Scott today at the Prescott bank and I did pay last years back Escrow. Just to keep the record straight. But my letter this year clearly states. This means you have a shortage of $1,716.75. This shortage may be collected from you over a period of 12 months or more unless the shortage is less than one month's deposit, in which case we have the additional option of requesting payment within 30 days. We have decided to collect it over 12 months I was not giving the option to pay this year, asked a number of times. NOW I CAN PAY, THEY SAY. I'm taking my other option to pay off the loan and not bank with First National Bank Of River Falls ever again. The decision were from the River Falls branch.

Well I've been a customer for ten years but the banker didn't care. I lose my password a couple times a year admittedly, but it only takes about 60 seconds for them to reset it. I went in to do this today around noon or so and the banker woman with glasses was absolutely livid at me. I don't know what I did wrong, but she was out of patience and scolding me before I even got referred to the desk. Ask any teller there and they'll tell you I'm always nice. No "thank you", just just an angry "okay" followed by her angrily fast walking out of the center desk Island. Didn't even stay to make sure I was able to log in. If I can manage a dinner rush of drunk customers without being rude, I'm pretty sure you should be able to assign a password. Just because your marriage is dysfunctional doesn't mean your attitude at work needs to be. This isn't the first time this has happened, so I think we're done here. Probably going to close my account soon. -David W
