  If i could put 0 stars i would! I absolutely hate talking poorly about organizations but i hope everyone sees this and they lose at least 1 customer because of this critique. I had the absolute worse experience with my PNC small business account and pnc bankers. It took me over 8 hours and 4 months to close my account. I decided to close after poor customer service, in general, but really after they denied 2 separate fraud investigations that i began. One was a recurring charge that i never agreed to by a third party. I never received the products nor agreed to a monthly membership and PNC found they were not liable for the charges because I didn’t report it sooner (they said the time frame for reporting the fraud had lapsed… but the charges were still actively going on every month! Makes no sense). A second fraud investigation was when i was getting charged for things in a foreign country several weeks and even up to 2 months after returning from said foreign country. They found no liability because “the charges matched my previous spending habits,” but i literally was in the US during that time frame. ANYWAYS, took me 4 months and more than 8 hours of visiting the branch and phone calls to finally close the account. At first they couldn’t close my account with an active investigation (even though they had already closed the investigation weeks prior). So anyways just lots of nonsense and run around and inept employees that couldn’t figure out how to close my account. Once they even “closed” it and read me the closure disclosure and everything but apparently they didn’t close it right or all the way or whatever i.e. it was still open and accruing fees for having a $0 balance. Literally after all this nonsense after several hours on the phone on different days, after leaving work early to visit the branch, etc etc etc i finally got it closed and they gave me the “courtesy” of waiving the fees! Lmaooo Absolute worse banking experience of my life. Like im literally so irritated. If i would have wasted 8+ hours of any bank executive’s life they would be demanding compensation. But i get all my time wasted and just get a “sorry you experienced that.”

  My experience at PNC Bank was absolutely exceptional! Luis was incredibly helpful, welcoming, and patient throughout the entire process of opening my account. Luis took the time to explain all the different options available and made sure everything was clear and easy to understand. The professionalism, knowledge, and genuine willingness to help made the whole process smooth and stress-free. Everything was resolved perfectly, and I truly appreciate the outstanding service. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

  I don't know why this PNC Bank on National Avenue isn't putting pressure on their corporate headquarters to stop funding projects like the Mountain Valley Pipeline. They don't seem to care though. We don't need more pipelines that contribute to higher asthma and cancer rates. We need more renewable energy investments. And this PNC branch is right by the James Groppi Memorial Bridge so they should be more conscious of how their investments hurt African American communities.
