  Would NOT recommend using this bank for loan mortgages. The team gave inaccurate information not once but several times and ultimately now delaying building we decided to move forward thinking things would’ve been resolved but here we are at the end of 4 months and still having issues. There is always something or waiting on someone else, and because of all the delays we had to update 3 months of payrolls, tax returns, & IRA’s. If it wasn’t for us paying things out of pocket we would still be waiting funding for permits/insurance. (Which they also takes 4-6 weeks to get plus having to wait to get on the schedule with contractor’s) The permits & insurance was also supposed to be part of the loan (before contractors will begin), but due to all the delays we had to keep pushing contractors back (almost for a month now). But due to false promises and lots of delay we are now on week 3 of closing, I just hope they figure it out soon because when the weather permits the contractor will begin regardless. Was told today we have another delay but this time they are blaming (FEMA). Which Banner knew and now wants updated pictures and now have to schedule a day to do that and since we are over an hr away it will cause more delays all because the appraisal came back on the 7th - which was the last day; funny wasn’t mentioned before when we were told for 2 weeks in a row that we should be closing at the end of the week now we are on week 3. They are not proactive or being straight-forward. If we had known it would take 5 months we would’ve gone with a different route.

  Lori is very judgmental and did not make me feel welcomed at all. Tried to cash a paycheck from my employer and was told I couldn’t cash it, then was met with attitude when asked why. Will not be attending this one, in fact, everyone at the Federal Way one have been stellar when helping me with deposits to employer’s account or cashing my checks, and always welcomed with a smile. Not a happy place to bank, unfortunately for Banner Tacoma. Update: went to my personal bank and deposited the check into my account and was immediately available for use. Lori, you will be the sole reason I do not bring my business to Tacoma Banner.

  Wish their were more near Pierce county and I don’t like that this one doesn’t have ATM outside so you have to try to bank during banking hours and it’s an inconvenience for people that work those hours.. or you have to drive all the way to puyallup or Seattle huge inconvenience.
