  I just called to obtain a mortgage statement for my CPA. Michael answered immediately. No wait time; refreshing! I gave him my name, collateral, address, phone number, loan number, favorite color, blood type, etc. He said he would see what he could do about that statement and the call dropped. I called back and got an automated system apologizing for the wait time ahead. Gabriella answered fairly quickly and was eager to help. She says she will send my statement in one of those secure message where you just have to solve Archimedes' Stomachion and outsmart Vizzini in a battle of wits to access your documents. Only what she sends is not what I asked her for and she is at an unattended email. In my 3rd call, I speak to Sabrina who is super friendly and also eager to help. She knows she is the 3rd person I've spoken to and she is up for the challenge. I now have my loan number memorized and I am full of hope! The statement comes in seconds, it's easy to open, and I can reply to Sabrina in gratitude. It may take as many people to get you a single statement copy as it takes licks to get to the tootsie roll center of a tootsie pop but hang in there, they'll get it to you! 12/23/2025 Ouch, another messy situation! In trying to pay my commercial mortgage online, I find their website does not work for me. I've talked to several reps including Jennifer W who promised me she would contact the IT department and put notes in my file to reference when I called back. None of that was done. I give. Now I call a number, go through phone tree options and pay my mortgage over the phone. Not great.

  Left stranded in a foreign country 3+ times without a way withdraw money. I alerted them in advance each time I left the country to where I would be traveling. It made no difference. I wasn’t able to contact the company for immediate help when my card was being denied because the time zones were so different, but boyyy did I try! They did send an automated message 8 hours later to alert me of the possible fraud (so helpful)! It was very fun to beg strangers on the street for cash to pay for my meal <3 what an eye opening experience! Can’t wait to stop doing business here immediately.

  I did business with First Interstate Bank first in 1983. They gave been a great bank to do business with.
