Today, went in with my 15 year old to open a checking account for her (when she has enough from odd jobs for the opening deposit, she’ll also be opening a savings account). Since she’s not 18, I have to be on the account as well, but I was extremely impressed Patty sat and talked directly to my daughter as if she was an adult opening her own account, explaining the different account options. I could tell it made my daughter very proud to have someone talk to her as an adult and not “a little kid”
