  I have been a loyal member of this credit union since the early 1990s and have always valued their service. However, over the past two months, I’ve experienced a noticeable decline in customer care. When I emailed my concerns directly to senior management , my message was passed down to a local Branch Manager to handle rather than being addressed by the senior manager I wrote to. While Branch Managers handle local daily operations, delegating high-level member service feedback down the chain without direct management follow-up demonstrates a concerning lack of leadership accountability. In a member-owned credit union, direct engagement from senior support management should be a priority. Based on my recent experiences, I recommend doing thorough research before banking here.

  Shannon Dunn at Homebase Credit Union showed me what member service should always look like. She was professional, knowledgeable, fast, and accurate, and she treated me with genuine respect throughout my transactions. My husband served 25 years in the Air Force, and I traveled with him throughout those years. Over time, I had begun to wonder whether I would ever experience truly great customer service again. Shannon changed that. She made me feel that she enjoys helping people and cares about giving every member the best possible experience. It is wonderful to know there are still people like Shannon serving their members and community so well. Thank you, Shannon, for an amazing experience. You deserve every one of these five stars!
