- PBPorter Ballard4 days ago1.0I hate to be that guy but we have had the worst time with Zions. Our card gets blocked about once a month for trying to buy something that’s not even expensive. They are unable to unblock the card so they send you so an ai robot that can’t unblock it either. It then defeats the purpose of having a “local” bank. We got stranded in the Istanbul airport because we couldn’t get the card unblocked after trying to get money from an atm. No for the worst of it —— a few months ago my wife called and asked a question about our account, I don’t remember what it was exactly. The people on the phone said that she would have to get the MALE SIGNER OF THE ACCOUNT??? We opened this account TOGETHER! We both know the verbal password because we are co-signers on this joint account. They said the reason she couldn’t access the phone was because “OFTEN TIMES WIVES WILL CALL AND DO THINGS WITH THE ACCOUNT AND THE HUSBAND WILL GET MAD”??? My wife in the end was unable to access our account because she is a woman.
