I had a financial crisis some years back, and I was trying to get straight with my credit union by depositing an enormous check. The credit union would have had to put ahold on the funds for a week.Until the check cleared. They encourage me to go to Zion's bank to cash it and come back. I was hesitant because the only time I have cash to check with a bank was at Chase, and their fees are astronomical. Zions charged me $8, which is very reasonable in late stage , capitalism. The kid who cashed my check was really nice. Yes I'm old!
