When they said they don’t do that I should have gone somewhere else. They did however promise it would be at midnight of payday. The people I work with get theirs at midnight or before. I can’t even get access to my money until after midnight. I keep my debit card locked and unlock it when I make a purchase for extra protection. I was just on hold for 45 min trying to see if someone would unlock my card because this is the second payday in a row that the unlocking feature was disabled and I couldn’t get my money. The customer service rep said every single night between 12-3am they disable the ability to unlock your debit card so they can do updates. Would have been good to know because I would have unlocked it prior. This and other reasons have prevented me from using this bank the way a bank is supposed to function. They lack transparency and I’ve been in situations where I needed to wait at a drug store for hours to buy medications for a sick kid or sit in a gas station parking lot for 3hrs until the card worked again so that I could make it home. I am getting closing my account. If you want to keep yours maybe this review will help you avoid at least one of the issues that PNC doesn’t see as a major problem.
