- BMBritany Myers3 days ago5.0I changed to CUTX in 2025 after being frustrated by all of the fees I was being charged (I call them "fee bites" as they suck the blood of my bank account) at my previous large bank. I closed my account with the large bank at the end of this summer. Besides having more money in my account each month because I'm no longer suffering from as many "fee bites" the customer service has blown my mind! I don't even feel like a "customer" when I walk in, I feel more like a cousin the the family is excited to see. Every time I walk into the Mesquite Branch I walk into a sea of smiles and I can feel the love dancing trough out the building. This is different from my previous bank where when I went in to close my account they took care of it and said goodbye like I'd just bought a toaster. I love CUTX so much that since I've started banking with them I've opened a checking, savings, a car loan and a HELOC with them, along with opening an account for my elderly mother and my 14. year old neice.(connected to my account). The account for my niece has blown my mind because this child went from "Buy me this! Buy me that!" to "CAN YOU BELIEVE HOW MUCH THEY'RE ASKING FOR THAT?!?!?!" Through CUTX she is learning the value of money. THANK YOU CUTX for all you've done for me and my family! I look forward to a long and prosperous relationship with you!
