  Absolutely terrible experience with PNC Bank. I walked into this bank specifically to apply for a secured credit card — a product where I was willing to provide my own money as collateral. The entire purpose of a secured card is to help people build or rebuild their credit. Yet somehow, despite bringing my own money to secure the account, I was still denied. What makes this even more frustrating is that banks like PNC continue advertising credit-building products while subjecting applicants to hard credit inquiries that can further damage an already fragile credit profile. For people genuinely trying to improve their financial situation, every hard inquiry matters. It feels like the bank is more interested in generating credit inquiries than helping customers establish or rebuild credit. They market products as opportunities, only to reject applicants who are actively trying to take responsible steps toward financial improvement. The result? Another hard inquiry on my credit report, another unnecessary setback, and absolutely no benefit to me as a customer. If your goal is to build credit, be extremely cautious before applying here. My experience left me feeling like I was penalized for trying to do the right thing. I came prepared to secure the account with my own funds and left with nothing but disappointment and a damaged credit profile. This was one of the most frustrating banking experiences I have ever had, and I would not recommend PNC Bank to anyone looking for genuine credit-building opportunities.

  Since Liz was fired this location is a joke. I went to get change from my account for our business. The teenage trainee asked me for a second form of ID. I gave it to her, no problem. Then she refused to give me the $100 worth of $1s. She said my signature didn’t match what they had on file. We have been banking there with our business for 20 years. The new manager stood there watching knowing I was upset. She did nothing and said nothing. Finally a branch officer told them who I was. This week they had no $1s at all. The girl laughed when she told me that it wasn’t her fault that she was from another branch. Totally unprofessional, untrained employees. We are moving all of our accounts to Chase next week.

  These people have got to be the slowest people iv ever had to deal with.....the snail in the parking made it almost to the window by time I got my withdrawal

  Very friendly branch, they understand the situation and will try their best to find the best solutions for the customer. Agent Josh is a really nice and friendly person!
