- RNRoberto J Navarrete2 days ago5.0I'm an old, seasoned, and have been an active bank account customer since the early 1970's in the U.S. In Houston, Texas. I was a checking and savings account holder at the Bank of the Southwest, Texas Commerce Bank, Bank United, Chase Bank, Washington Mutual Bank, Wells Fargo Bank for 26 years, Capital One Bank. And two other banks in Mexico. All in good standing. However, not until the year 2015, I discovered [by a mere accident] a banking institution in Houston, called Shell Federal Credit Union, and I gradually and finally found a place where I could experience a true sense of amicable trust, formal, and yet casual, kind and welcoming business environment, along with the the peace and the assurance of being backed by a safe and powerful national name for my banking needs. Plus their customer associates are unusually knowledgeable, kind, and supportive human beings, unlike the classic cold and indifferent "mechanical" staff elsewhere. I was not asked to provide this personal review. I just felt compelled to do it, due to another recent important and delicate banking transaction that I needed guidance and support with. So, I sincerely and highly recommend the Shell Federal Credit Union in Houston. Texas, and nationally as well. God Bless America !!! By the way, my super branch is the Pearland Branch at Monroe and the Sam Houston Toll Freeway..Try it. Thanks.
