I went in to distribute money from an estate account, and the teller basically told me everything was wrong on the account, it was set up incorrectly, told me I would be on the hook for taxes (estate settlements aren’t even taxable to begin with), and that there would have to be a deposit verification (which the check had already been verified due to it being in the account for the correct amount of time). I had to drive an hour away to the bank I set the account up at and there was zero issue with doing what I had asked to do. I got my money within 20 minutes. The teller here was incredibly demeaning and spoke to me as if I had no idea what I was talking about. The customer service alone and the way I was spoken to made me want to drive back to another PNC. I highly suggest no one waste their time with this location.
